Baka a.k.a Paboya updates: Romance FREAK.
Today is a Sunday. Last day of study before AMB exam. I was watching is fantastic love story on channel 5 called "Untamed Heart" and gosh, it was sooooo nice!! i absolutely loved the plot. first of all, marisa tomei and christian slater gave a superb performance, and the plot made me cry!!
Here's the story outline:
Caroline (Marisa Tomei) was a waitress working at a restaurant while Adam (Christian Slater) was an errand boy who did all sorts of odd jobs including dish washing, cleaning up the store... they were colleagues, and never did they interact much. However, what caroline didn't know was that Adam was a very introvert boy who didn't speak much at all, but would look at her from far away, and without her knowing, walk her home EVERYDAY at night, becoz' her night shift ends after midnight. *sweet factor!!!* rolls around~~
One day she was attacked and almost raped by 2 men while walking home after night shift when Adam came to rescue her. By then caroline had fainted and he carried her back to her place, where he waited and stood by all night till the early wee hours when she woke up, shocked to find herself back home with his jacket on her. (note: it's freakin december and snowing so imagine how cold he was!!) Anyway, when he saw that she had awoken, he hurriedly left the place. From then on, their little 'thing' began and she started to feel something for him. *YESH YESH!!* Unfortunately, adam had a congenial heart problem and could only survive not much longer... still, their love blossomed and she fell so in love with him (so did i!) that i thought everything was going well.... until the very day --- - his birthday. She brought him to a hockey match (he'd never been to one) and he was so overwhelmed and happy! gosh to think they'd end up happily ever after, he passed away in their car on the way back home. Coz' when she tried to wake up him when they reached his place, he never woke up again.
